There’s something quietly emotional about seeing a project you’ve been building in private finally become real in public.

That’s how it felt seeing Dissectologists go live on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. Watching it come up in search. Seeing the show page with an actual episode underneath it. Realizing it had crossed over from idea to object. Here was something I was shaping behind the scenes that is now something other people can find and hear.

It’s a moment I'm celebrating.

What looks simple on the surface took months of work: guest outreach, branding drafts, visual design, recording sessions, audio editing, story shaping, pacing, and all the small decisions that go into making a conversation feel natural. There were plenty of moments of second-guessing, over-editing, adding things back in, and trying to make sure the finished episode sounded thoughtful and not overworked.

It was all worth it.

Dissectologists is a podcast about jigsaw puzzles and the people who love them, but it’s also about attention, community, and a quiet hobby that holds so much more meaning. Launching it has been one of the most fulfilling creative projects I’ve taken on.

Seeing it finally out in the world feels validating and a little surreal.
